Athena Merana
Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grade

Athena was born in the Philippines and moved to Canada at the age of five.  Her family currently resides in Toronto, Ontario.  At the age of seven she knew teaching was her calling.  Fulfilling her dream in May 2006, she graduated from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska with a BS in Elementary Education.

Her interests include: children, volleyball, running, ice-cream, reading, friends, hiking, camping, swimming, and baking.

Athena holds a Nebraska & Washington State Certificate and a teaching certificate from the North American Division of SDA Department of Education.
